NHN in Japan announced that it will launch the resonance action RPG “Abyssdia” on platforms such as PC, iOS, and Android in the second quarter of 2025, and for the first time, publicly released the main visual art and illustrations of the main characters of the game for players to preview.
“Abyssdia” is a fantasy-style beautiful girl RPG independently developed by the team under NHN PlayArt, featuring a unique worldview. The game stage is set in an unknown black space “Abyss Slit” polluted by strange things. Players will play the role of a “Tuner” and embark on an adventure together with beautiful girl partners, purifying the pollution by tuning the distorted wavelengths of the world.
The five core characters announced this time include: “Rami”, the apostle of the amnesiac goddess who guides the protagonist, who is cheerful in character but burdened with the mystery of memory loss; “Karian Selene”, the chief of the Tuning Firm “Astera Company”, a cute-looking silver-haired girl who is actually a dragon over 200 years old; “Labiss”, the second princess of the Farania Kingdom, who embarks on an adventure journey to escape from her overly protective sister; “Lynette”, the ace employee of the firm, who has an arrogant and tsundere personality due to family inheritance disputes and shoulders the burden of the family to raise her younger brother; “Ruby”, an energetic girl with the goal of “becoming the strongest”, who keeps practicing to crusade the legendary ancient dragon.
Currently, the official side has simultaneously released the character illustrations and background stories, and players can view the complete character setting materials through the official website. This game adopts an innovative “Resonance Battle System”, and the bonds between characters will directly affect the battle effects. The development team said that more gameplay details will be gradually disclosed in the future.
